“Our sound can be described as, San Francisco/Oakland Bay Area Funk”, Nile Curtis, 16 years old and the main bass player (they say “main bass player” because sometimes his sister, Phoenix, also plays the bass) in the family band, The Curtis Family C-notes, who came to prominence as a result of their appearance on America’s Got Talent (AGT), of which their audition has over 2 million views on YouTube and over 12 million views on Facebook. 

“I like to call our sound, Retro Soul, more specifically, Funk-a-RhythmBluesyJazzyBootyShakin’ consciousness of Love and Soul; with an inspirational message of joy, fun, peace and celebration”, says Papa C (aka Maestro Curtis).  Each of the 13 songs on the album are written and produced by Maestro Curtis and the Curtis Family.  The songs drive a collective message of empowerment, peace, love and unity.  When the family announced the launch date online on their Instagram account (@thecurtisfamilycnotes), their followers commented, “Alright, been waiting for this album for awhile!” and “Congratulations. So exciting. I am counting down the days.”

The album will be available to stream/download at Midnight, June 8th, 2022.
