Lisa LaRue will release the official video for her evocative holiday song Solstice 2K25 on December 21, 2025, coinciding with the Winter Solstice. The track originally appeared on the charity Christmas album The Joy of Christmas, released November 1, 2025. Written and performed by LaRue, Solstice 2K25 is published by Third Childhood Publishing (ASCAP, 2025).
LaRue describes Solstice 2K25 as “a tribute to the universal rhythm of winter celebrations that have spanned cultures and centuries. While Christmas often takes center stage, this piece honors the deeper truth: nearly every culture marks the winter months with rituals of light, reflection, and renewal. From Yule to Dongzhi, Hanukkah to Kwanzaa, and even many Native American celebrations, these traditions share a common heartbeat of gathering, gratitude, and the hope of rebirth.”
