MYTH OF LOGIC is the creative vehicle of Scott G. DAVIS of Saint Petersburg, FL, and is influenced to some extent by progressive rock of all eras, but primarily that of the 1970’s, the main influences being stated to include GENESIS, EMERSON LAKE & PALMER, RUSH, KANSAS, YES and SAGA.
Back in the early 1990’s Scott had a vision of the band he had always wanted, but nothing came of it at the time, so he lived his life, stored his ideas and generally ignored this music. Then in 2021, after much gentle prodding from a friend named Jim BEILMAN, something ignited and the mothballed music and ideas just came pouring back out. Scott had no idea of the cause or the source of this sudden inspiration.
Following the completion of the “Here & There” Trilogy with its final album “Light At The End” released in late 2024, comes the next release “The Memory Of After”.
Marking the next chapter in the evolving sound of Myth Of Logic, The Memory Of After is a story. Mercy’s story.
It is a striking fusion of motion, atmosphere and artistry pairing Scott G. Davis’s production with Charlie Roy’s powerful visual work.
Jerry Outlaw has spent over four decades performing and touring with a wide range of acclaimed bands and artists, spanning genres from folk, country, blues, and rock to classical, metal, fusion, and orchestral music. Known for constantly pushing musical boundaries, he has built a areer defined by versatility, innovation, and fearless artistry.
Two of his most notable projects have taken him across the globe: Jon Oliva’s Pain (2004–2013), an original rock/metal band with a
progressive edge, and Bogus Pomp (1994–2022), a long-running tribute to the music of Frank Zappa. With Bogus Pomp, Outlaw explored Zappa’s work in every form—from intimate rock ensembles and chamber groups to full-scale orchestral performances—demonstrating his unparalleled ability to bring complex, genre-defying music to life on stage.
