This newly curated digital album honors the profound influence of women in music, drawing from a wide range of releases across the label and its imprints, PeacockSunrise Records and Wadulisi Recordings. Spanning more than 20 years of music, past, present, and future, this collection is inspired by the concept of the Muses, long believed to ignite creativity and artistic expression. Here, however, the “muse” is reimagined not simply as a source of inspiration, but as a creator, innovator, and driving force in her own right.
Why now?
March is widely recognized as Women’s History Month, a time dedicated to celebrating the contributions, achievements, and lasting impact of women throughout history and in contemporary society. We felt this was the perfect moment to honor the remarkable women who have helped shape the music of MRR, PSR, and WR releases.
