January 7, 2025 – Italian alternative rock band Forgotten Dream, known for their 90s grunge-inspired sound, unveils the lyric video for “June Gloom“, a track from their latest album, Distorted Karma (Too Loud Records).

Created by Valeria Corradi, the video is a striking black-and-white visual that mirrors the melancholic and poignant atmosphere of the song. Hypnotic imagery and dynamic plays of light evoke the emotional intensity of 90s grunge ballads, reminiscent of works by Hole. Watch the lyric video here: June Gloom Lyric Video.

“June Gloom” explores one of the four key “moods” present in Distorted Karma, revealing the band’s introspective and nostalgic side. Lyrics like “Can you feel it in the air? It’s in your mind and everywhere” reflect how mental states can shape one’s perception of reality. In this track, California—birthplace of vocalist Maryanne Muse—is depicted in an unfamiliar light, far from the typical sunny imagery, cloaked instead in an aura of mystery and longing.

The release of the “June Gloom” lyric video coincides with an exciting time for Forgotten Dream, as the band celebrates multiple nominations at the FemMetal Awards 2024, including:

Best Instrument Player

Best Music Video (Rabbit Hole)

Best Album (Distorted Karma)

Best Breakthrough Act
