After nearly five decades of collecting and studying vintage clothing, I’m excited to share a new creative chapter that’s been quietly unfolding behind the scenes. This summer, I’ll be launching Rethread Clothing Company, an upcycled, one‑of‑a‑kind fashion line that brings together my lifelong love of textiles and my work as a Native American prog musician, composer, educator, visual artist, and culture bearer.
Rethread grew out of a series of conversations with Wax Astronaut, whose own creative journey sparked a deeper dialogue about sustainability, storytelling, and the ways our artistic worlds overlap. Those conversations lit the fuse for this project, and Rethread will continue to evolve through collaborations with other musicians and artists in the future.
For almost 50 years, I’ve been drawn to the history and spirit woven into old garments — the stitching, the wear, the character that only time can create. Rethread Clothing Company is my way of honoring those stories while giving each piece a new life. Every item is upcycled, reimagined, and handcrafted, blending reclaimed materials with modern design and the same creative energy that fuels my music.
Rethread will also feature a special series of band‑connected pieces, upcycled pieces with band-branding, each one a unique artifact for fans and collectors. In addition to these upcycled pieces, Rethread will offer new apparel with band branding, but each item will still be produced individually as a true one‑of‑one, keeping the spirit of craftsmanship and individuality at the heart of the brand.
This project is deeply personal. It’s a continuation of the creative thread that runs through my music, my art, and my work in community spaces. Rethread Clothing Company is about sustainability, reinvention, and the beauty of giving something a second life.
Launching Summer 2026!
I’m looking forward to sharing previews, behind‑the‑scenes looks, and the first drop announcement as we get closer.
Thank you for being part of my journey.
