We’re finally almost there and while we know the wait has been really, really, really long, the first single is a whooping 11 minutes! Bang for your buck!
It’s a big, weird, slightly incomprehensible mix of a lot of our styles. Very intense, hopefully very fun to listen to. I don’t know how many people have the time, these days, to really dig down and listen to a 10+ min song, but we believe in you! You can do it!
It was mixed by Mike Watts, who also did A Boat on the Sea, with Billy Rymer (The Dillinger Escape Plan) helping us out on drums after Thore’s untimely passing. Needless to say, we’re eternally grateful to them both (and all the other people involved).
The artwork for the album was done by DULK, the same incredible guy who did our previous album. The cover you’re seeing here is one part of a much larger image.
