LOS ANGELES, CA — Today, MISSOULA officially release their debut album, Death Doula, available now on all streaming platforms, LP, and CD via Org Music.

Featuring drummer Brooks Wackerman (Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Religion), guitarist John Konesky (Tenacious D), and bassist/keyboardist John Spiker (Tenacious D, Beck), MISSOULA have quickly established themselves as one of instrumental rock’s most exciting new projects, crafting music that blends cinematic composition, crushing grooves, and fearless musicianship into something both technically impressive and endlessly engaging.

Following the releases of “Love Bombs,” “Crimson,” and “Ted Dollop,” Death Doula reveals the full scope of the trio’s vision across eleven expansive tracks that move effortlessly between towering riffs, melodic passages, odd-meter explorations, and soundtrack-worthy atmospheres.

Throughout Death Doula, MISSOULA avoid treating instrumental music as simply an exercise in virtuosity. Instead, every composition is built around memorable hooks, dynamic arrangements, and the undeniable chemistry between three musicians whose decades of experience allow them to balance technical precision with genuine musical storytelling.

As Konesky previously described the band:

“Missoula is what happens when you take the reins off and let yourself run free, naked and fearless, thru an infinite universe.”

Built around Wackerman’s explosive yet nuanced drumming, Konesky’s expressive guitar work, and Spiker’s inventive bass and keyboard textures, Death Doula feels less like a side project and more like the arrival of a fully realized band with its own unmistakable identity.

To celebrate the album’s release, MISSOULA will perform a special hometown show at The Baked Potato in Los Angeles on June 30, giving fans one of their first opportunities to experience the music live.
