Box of Shamans continue to build momentum toward their forthcoming, as-yet-untitled second album with the release of “Mother Africa,” the third and most ambitious entry in the band’s ongoing Monthly Ritual series.
Scheduled for release in late 2026, the upcoming album is already shaping up to be the band’s boldest statement to date. “Mother Africa” offers a subtle but striking turn in sound while remaining true to Box of Shamans’ signature sonic identity. As previously reported, Box of Shamans have already completed at least 20 new tracks, including an expansive 17-minute epic, an early signal of the ambitious scope and exploratory spirit driving the band’s next chapter.
