Well, here we are again, another journey around the sun almost complete, so we’d just like to thank everybody who has helped and supported us during this very busy year by attending our special 40th anniversary shows, buying our music and also those lovely tour T-shirts courtesy of the very talented Paul Tippett or even just by saying a few kind words about us which always helps to quietly spread the word.
In fact, as we enjoyed them so much we’ve decided to play a few more shows next year, at venues that we didn’t manage to get to this year, in order to keep the celebrations going for just a little longer. So hopefully we’ll see you (some of you again perhaps?) at our ‘Fortysomething’ tour dates in 2026.
Album News
We have been working on a couple of reissues in the last few months which should be available early in the new year, both being released in conjunction with Oskar Records in Poland.
Firstly, after a long period out of press we will be reissuing ‘Nothing Is Written’ which was our first ever full length album to be released on CD back in 1991. This new version will contain an extra track in the form of Don’t Lose Control (2015) which features both Mark Andrews on piano (our keyboard player at the time) as well as current long term keyboard player Dean Baker.
We will also be reissuing our 2018 album ‘Seas of Change’ on CD which has also been out of press for some time.
Information regarding release dates for these albums will shared on social media as soon as confirmed.
We’d also like to thank everyone who has purchased our recent ‘unexpected’ limited edition live album ‘Alive at Loreley’, which received very positive reviews is still available to order on CD from our official Galahad web site merchandise page.
All our available albums, merchandise etc. are available from our official website: https://www.galahadonline.com/galahad-merchandise
We also have an official Bandcamp page: https://galahad1.bandcamp.com/
And finally…
Just to let everybody know that we are working on new songs and music for our next Galahad album release, although it’s too soon to share any further details but at least it’s all in progress. Stu and Dean are also working on another GEC side project at the moment which will be released in the new year at some point.
In the meantime, we’d just like to wish everyone, everywhere a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, safe and peaceful New Year.
All the best and keep Rockin’
