About the Video
The video blends live studio footage of Nam Chumo performing with AI-generated scenes of a digital samurai roaming Chicago — through Wrigleyville, River North, Old Town, and Lakeview East. The result blurs the line between performance and imagination: a stylized dream where East meets Midwest and the ghost of Bushidō meets the glow of neon. AI art tools were used to visualize the samurai’s journey, composited and directed by Anna Fokin, maintaining the Refestramus commitment to storytelling that pushes creative boundaries without losing heart.
