TORONTO, CANADA (April 11, 2026) — Crimson Glory recently announced their brand new album “Chasing The Hydra”, the first new album in 26 years. The album will be released worldwide on all digital services, CD and vinyl on April 17th via BraveWords Records. The early reviews have been incredible and today the band releases a new track to YouTube for the fans… “Beyond The Unknown”

“Encapsulated, “Beyond The Unknown” was inspired by the thought of being comfortable with not knowing the answers to questions that pertain to the cosmos, our origins, our purpose, etc., and in some cases, even being apathetic towards it. Since the dawn of time, man has never been comfortable with not knowing things, and many times he has settled for not only unsatisfactory answers, but answers that are provably wrong. Whatever we fill in the gaps with, there will always be things we don’t know, and may never know. So, we could say that there will always be things beyond the unknown.”

Early reviews of the album Chasing The Hydra —
So, was it worth the wait? Abso-fuckin’lutely!!! – XS RockThe masters have risen once again to show how it’s done and almost make the past 36 years disappear, because Chasing The Hydra is definitely the best thing this band has put out since 1988 and a true successor to those untouchable first two albums. Welcome back, legends! 10/10 – Velvet ThunderChasing The Hydra succeeds not by redefining progressive metal, but by reaffirming what made Crimson Glory compelling in the first place. It is a record of identity rather than reinvention, confidence rather than spectacle… After 26 years, Crimson Glory have not returned to reclaim a throne – they’ve returned to remind us why it mattered. – Lots Of MuzikLifelong fans will be more than satisfied, and those who have never listened to the band will discover a new world full of the magic that Crimson Glory has gifted us. For both groups, the result is a brilliant album worthy of the history of this great band. – Rockfiend Publicationsthe band is back stronger than ever, with their new album bringing back the roots of the first days that made them one of the best band. – The Metal MagWithout a doubt I put it on the best album of 2026 that I have heard so far this year. – Speed From HellChasing The Hydra is a return that goes beyond nostalgia. It is an epic rebirth, a testimony that Crimson Glory is still capable of thrilling and surprising. – Metalcry
