Time’s Forgotten long-awaited fifth studio album, Songs of Awakening, due out on October 4, 2025, via acclaimed U.S. label Melodic Revolution Records.
The album will feature eight powerful new tracks, showcasing the band’s continued evolution and artistic maturity. Songs of Awakening also marks a milestone in the consolidation of Time’s Forgotten’s current lineup:

The album was recorded in various studios throughout 2024 and 2025 and was mixed and mastered by Juan Pablo Calvo at Finca Eléctrica Records.
“This album definitely marks a new era for the band,” says Calvo. “It builds on the extensive work we’ve done since Priscilla joined in 2018, from international tours and festival appearances to the release of our symphonic EP, and points the way toward everything still to come.”

Celebrating 20 Years of Music
The release of Songs of Awakening also coincides with Time’s Forgotten’s 20th anniversary. The band’s journey began with their debut performance in 2006 at the Eugene O’Neill Theater in Costa Rica, and over the past two decades, they’ve cultivated a passionate and loyal following both at home and abroad.
We wanted to show the world that there is a way out, that something good is always waiting for us at the end of every path we choose. All we need is to learn to love ourselves a little more each day,” says Juan Pablo Calvo, the band’s keyboardist, rhythm guitarist, and producer.
Musically, the band explores a more modern side of progressive metal while staying true to their signature melodic style and storytelling. ”We didn’t want to sound like a mathematical equation, but we did want to incorporate some of those elements into this album,” says Calvo. ”There are lots of electronic textures, driving grooves, layered instrumentation, and rich vocal harmonies. This is our heaviest record to date, but also our most vulnerable.”
To close the album on a powerful note, the band assembled a choir of about 25 fellow singers-including friends, family, and members of other bands, for the song “Forgiveness,” emphasizing the themes of inclusion and togetherness.
